Excessive Baggage in Komodo Boat Tour

Just like when you are traveling somewhere else, you only need to bring some things that are completely necessary for the trip. Clothes, toiletries, medicines, and makeup are a few examples of the necessities that you should fit in your bag. Other things like sunglasses and hats are also deemed important, while the rest are optional based on your preference.

So we know about what you should bring, but what things are not really necessary to bring on your trip and can only burden you on your adventure? I’m going to share some of them for you:

Extra Gadgets

In the era of technology, it’s quite normal for a person to have 5 or 6 different gadgets for different purposes. These gadgets are sure can help your daily life but is it going to help you as well in the wilderness? Bringing your phone and camera is definitely already enough, or drones as well if you wanted to take aerial photos.

Other than that, things like a game console or tablet are definitely not needed on the Komodo trip. Instead of spending your time playing with your games or apps, go outside to enjoy the view of nature and mingle with other travelers. Isn’t that why you joined the trip in the first place?

Foods to Komodo Boat?

What’s NOT to Bring to Komodo Boat Trip

When you join the trip with Komodo boat, they already provide you with a full course meal three times a day and a bunch of snacks. That’s why the guests don’t really need to bring their own food, to also lighten the belongings of each person. Bringing some extra snacks is acceptable if you think it won’t be enough or just wanted to share it with others.

As for drinks, the ship provides free endless drinks every day so you don’t really need to bring extra. Don’t forget to bring a drinking bottle though, maybe 2 of them depending on if your bags still have a room or not. It’s important because the extreme activities that are scheduled every day will get you exhausted constantly, so a supply of water is definitely needed at any time.

Jewelry and Valuables

Lastly, try not to bring your expensive jewelry or valuables on an adventure with you. You may want to show it off on a daily basis, but wearing it while going exploring the island or jumping into the water is not a good idea. Not only it may ruin the quality of the jewelry itself, but you also have a high chance of losing it without noticing. So keep your gold necklace or bracelets in a box safely at home, where you don’t need to worry about them.
